Demar Dorsey News

Since we still get a lot of hits and questions regarding how he is doing I figured I should share this story from last week on his plans for the future. I’m guessing too much controversy has happened between Michigan and Dorsey for Ann Arbor to be a landing spot; but based on his story this is something worth to keep an eye on.


Grand Rapids Community College (Mich.) defensive back Demar Dorsey, a former four-star high school recruit, talks about his season to date and his plans for recruiting.
The fans in the stands at Houseman Field (Grand Rapids, Michigan) largely are unaware of┬áDemar Dorsey’s story. How he was a big time recruit wanted by the nation’s best out of high school. How, at one time, he was committed to Florida, then he switched to Michigan. Ultimately, he ended up at Grand Rapids Community College, where he was initially viewed as a reclamation project for the coaching staff.No, most of the Raider supporters who turn out aren’t aware of any of that, all they know is that number four, “that Florida kid,” as he is referred to, is entertaining. The dancing between plays, the excited yelling and cheering on of his teammates, and overall exuberance has made him a fan favorite and the emotional leader of one of the nation’s top junior colleges.
