NFL Wolverine Of The Week

Not a tough decision this week (although Detroit Lions fans may disagree). But the former Heisman trophy winner Charles Woodson  walks away with this weeks honors. Woodson had another spectacular day as his Packers improve to 4-0 with a win against the Broncos. Woodson certainly earned his paycheck this week with 4 tackles a pass defend and a Interception returned to the house. With that score Charles Woodson now is tied for the NFL season leader in INT’s(3) and moves into second place all time for defensive scores(11). Woodson is now just one score shy of the all time record. Congrats CW.

Honorable Mentions

  • David Harris- Had 7 tackles one pass defend and an INT returned for a TD in a sloppy Jets loss.
  • Jeff Backus – Helped Lions overcome a 24 point deficit to remain perfect.
