NFL Wolverine Of The Week

What happens when two former Heisman trophy winners go head to head? The Michigan Man always wins and you end up with the NFL Wolverine of The Week.  Charles Woodson proved Sunday that’s 1. He’s not too old and 2. Cam Newton still has a lot to learn about the NFL. Woodson was on fire against Cam recording 2 INTs, 1 Fumble recovery, 5 tackles and, 2 pass defends showing he’s still the best corner in the league. Woodson has a lot of work to do with his defense this year, with the packer secondary getting torched in back to back weeks by New Orleans and then by Carolina. But CW is a great leader and with inspiring performances like Sunday, he should have his team back on track over the next few weeks.

Runner Up:

Tom Brady- as Usual Tom was close to perfect Sunday against San Diego’s Lethal Defense completing 31 of 40 passes for 423 yards and 3 touchdowns. Brady also set the record for most yards over the first 2 games of the season with 940.
