Landing Spot for Jonas Mouton?

After watching a very entertaining first day of the NFL draft, I started to wonder about the possible landing spots of the few Wolverines in the draft. I found this very interesting info on Jonas Mouton from last month. It gives a quick mention of the teams that have met with him. Personally, as a NY Giant fan I wouldn’t mind my team taking a shot at him in a later round. Yes there is a reason I and my colleague (Woodsonbaby) call him Trick or Treat Mouton. He has his ups and downs (many times in the same game or same drive). But if he is used as a specialist of sorts, a team would be able to put him in positions where you will get more treat rather than trick.

Buffalo Bills Meet With Michigan OLB Jonas Mouton

The 2011 NFL Combine wraps up today with defensive back workouts. The Buffalo Bills, along with the rest of the NFL, are busy conducting interviews with as many prospects as they can – and we continue to get confirmations of those meetings. Jonas Mouton, an outside linebacker from Michigan, is the latest to confirm that he’s met with the Bills (via Aaron Wilson).

Mouton, a 6’1″, 239-pound weak-side linebacker that struggled in his Combine workouts (he ran an unofficial 4.9-second 40-yard dash) and is a best-fit in a 4-3, finished his Michigan career with 263 tackles, 18 tackles for loss, three sacks and four interceptions. A late-round or priority free agent prospect, Mouton is likely viewed as a specialist at the next level. He also met with the Chiefs, Chargers, Eagles and Saints.
