NFL Wolverine of the Week

Well it was bound to happen but this week we have a tie. A bunch of Former Wolverines had nice days. We will start with Mario Manningham who had a great day with 113 yards and 2 TDs this normally would have been enough to win outright Wolverine of the week but under the conditions of the Giants loss we decide to have to have a tie. The second NFL Wolverine of the week is none other than Braylon Edwards. BE was instrumental in the Jets upset of the Steelers making difficult catches in traffic for a season high 8 catches and 100 yards. Last but not least Jason Avant who had a modest 3 Rec for 35 yards (his last reception resulted in a first down on the Eagles game tying drive). But most importantly Avant laid that huge block freeing Deshawn Jackson for the game winning punt return for a TD. Also note as a result of the key block Avant suffered a concussion and we wish him a speedy recovery.

Honorable mentions:

David Harris

Tom Brady

Jason Avant and Braylon Edwards
