Michigan’s Victory Over Bowling Green
Michigan is showing that it’s no longer a one-man team — or even a two-man team.
With leading scorer Tim Hardaway Jr. in foul trouble in the first half, the Wolverines outplayed and outhustled Bowling Green and took a 69-50 victory on Thursday night before an announced crowd of 7,852 at Crisler Arena.
It was the first game of U-M’s four-game schedule in the Legends Classic tournament.
U-M (2-0) got contributions from several players, including 14 points and seven rebounds from freshman Evan Smotrycz, 12 points and eight rebounds from redshirt freshman Jordan Morgan and six points and 11 assists from sophomore point guard Darius Morris.
