An end to the NCAA’s investigation into the Michigan football program apparently is nearing.
According to the Associated Press, a person with knowledge of the situation said the NCAA’s final decision regarding violations by the Michigan football program will be released Thursday. The source told the AP that U-M is “very happy” with the final outcome.
In addition, ESPN, attributing the information to a source, reported that coach Rich Rodriguez did not fail to promote an atmosphere of compliance. That charge was the one among five NCAA allegations that the university challenged.
