Former Michigan standout Manny Harris might make it in the NBA after all.
The Detroit native went undrafted last spring after he decided to skip his senior season, but appears to be turning plenty of heads in training camp for the post-LeBron James era Cavaliers.
First-year coach Byron Scott gave Harris a firm endorsement Monday after the 6-foot-5, 185-pound shooting guard helped secure an 85-79 victory over the Mavericks in Dallas. Harris’ line: 14 points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals in 24 minutes off the bench.
